Elmar Buschlinger (European Region Principal) works with EGVA’s European operations where he leads various business development strategies. Formerly CEO of a highly successful software development company, he currently serves on numerous corporate Boards in Germany. Elmar also provides strategy consulting services to numerous IT start-up companies and provides coaching services to C-level teams. A graduate in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, he has led many initiatives for the development of information technology in the Karlsruhe regional technology cluster.

Dr. Edward Verlander (Chairman & Founder of EGVA) has line management experience in information technology and human resources, and for over 25 years has provided consulting and executive coaching services in many for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in software development, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, banking, and wholesale distribution. Dr. Verlander taught at Columbia University where he earned his doctorate and is on the teaching faculty of the MBA programs at Long Island University, Hofstra University, and SUNY Stony Brook. In addition to teaching and consulting, his publications have focused on talent retention strategies, executive coaching, and leadership.

Yinghua Jin (Beijing Branch Principal) leads EGVA’s operations in China. Working with Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading universities, she develops and implements programs in professional training and executive education. Jean’s leadership experience includes managing vocational schools and as Principal of a high school in the city of Shenyang. She  is a leader in reforming the Chinese educational structure to fit the demands of the new market economy. Jean studied Arts Management in Ireland at the University College Dublin and holds a Ph.D. degree.

Sarah Wang (CEO of EGVA) has lived in the US since 1998 where she completed her college education in business administration at Messiah College, Pennsylvania in 2003 and later earned an MBA at Long Island University, New York. Before joining EGVA, she had line management work experience as Director of Project Management. Sarah Wang is a life coach and conducts admissions counseling helping Chinese students with their admissions into US universities. She recently published an article in Education Information Magazine addressing the challenges of transitioning into the US educational system.

Jacqueline Zumach (West Coast Manager) Based in Phoenix, Jackie leads various business development activities and manages EGVA’s West Coast programs.  She has fifteen years of experience as an independent real estate agent and has run her own small business. Jackie has expertise in sales and customer relationship management and actively participates in various professional activities. She is completing her degree at Arizona State University and plans to offer life coaching services to regional clients.
