In global business, there is a growing demand for more education and training on working in foreign cultures, cross-culture sensitivity, preparing managers for over seas assignments, studying abroad, and understanding how to communicate in cultures very different from one’s own. EGVA has developed culture education service to respond to this emerging demand by launching a series of “exchange” programs beginning with a focus on China. Experiencing English Program. EGVA is working with the Intensive English Center at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, Long Island, New York, to train Chinese students on the English language, the American culture, US economy, as well as many practical aspects of studying and working in the US. This training is designed to foster friendship between the US and China and to encourage Chinese high school and college graduates to apply to US academic institutions to continue their education. China Study Program. EGVA also provides services on topics and activities assisting Americans preparing to work or study in China. We train American students and professionals on adapting to the Chinese culture and system. American students and professionals will have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at leading Chinese universities, visiting various cities in China, learning and practicing Chinese, and visiting Chinese companies to get an insider’s view of doing business in China. The program duration ranges between 3 weeks to 3 months. However, participants can make arrangements to extend their program based on individual needs.
