Our executive coaching is conducted by highly skilled and experienced coaches who have a combination of practical work experience in organizations where they have been leaders and the ability to help managers acknowledge their weaknesses and make substantive changes. ▪ Derailer Coaching. There are times when highly valued individual leaders have derailed and need immediate help. In a rapidly changing work world, people make mistakes. Clients make coaching investments in managers who derail because they believe such persons offer significant value to the organization, or because coaching is one way to address litigation. ▪ Developmental Coaching. The training and development of organizational leaders involves many experiential, diagnostic, evaluative, and support activities. Developmental coaching is an important activity in a process to help people grow and develop in their roles, to be ready for taking on bigger responsibility. Such coaching is focused on the future and helping managers achieve their career ambitions. EGVA Coaching Process. When either Derailer or Developmental coaching is needed, EGVA always includes multiple stakeholders in the process: the person being coached, the manager’s immediate supervisor, the coach, a specialist in HR responsible for talent management, and for executive-level coaching, a senior HR executive. Assignments are generally three to six months in duration and follow a plan with specific goals, periodic stakeholder check-ins, behavioral diagnostics, multi-rater feedback, and where needed, skill building. EGVA coaching uses 360 feedback systems for leadership development and includes individualized coaching on the results of the multi-rater, feedback.
