Edward G. Verlander
Dr. Verlander is the founder and chairman of EGVA.
Edward Verlander specializes in leadership development, executive coaching, and management training. In addition to corporate consulting, he is an adjunct professor of management at the College of Business, Stony Brook University. He has also taught at Columbia University, Hofstra University, and Long Island University, as well as at Jilin University and Nanjing University in China.
Since 1980, Dr. Verlander has consulted throughout the world for Fortune 500 clients including all levels of management in a diverse range of industries. Business function consulting includes Sales and Marketing, Finance, IT, HR, and Manufacturing. He has worked throughout the United States and Europe, in the Caribbean, China, Central and South America, India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia
Born in England, Edward now lives in Setauket, New York. He earned a B.Sc., an MBA degree from the University of Connecticut, and masters and doctoral degrees from Columbia University. He also completed the Executive Program at the Columbia Business School and is certified to use various psychological and diagnostic instruments. His book: The Practice of Professional Consulting is scheduled for publication in the spring, 2011.
